I’m curious as to what a Cereal Grain Beverage example would be. I am a coffee drinker and this sparks my curiosity.

I believe that it is quite a tasty replacement of coffee that will help you to ingest much higher levels of fiber. So you should not feel so hungry after this drink.

This would be some liquid diet :) I hear a lot about going on liquid diets but none of them have appealed to me. I might be able to based on this list of of drinks. In all seriousness, i never knew many of these had a decent amount of fiber in them.

Hi Ann, thank you for stopping by! Yes, some of these drinks are rich on fiber and hence very beneficial for weight reduction. However, I would not recommend you diet based only on liquids as this is not very healthy!

I am curious about Cereal Grain Beverage too… I love tea though and I have noticed that I get headache if I don’t drink at least one cup of tea a day. However, I don’t like to be controlled by anything I eat or drink and I feel like tea is doing precisely that… From the last month I have been trying green tea… argggg it was not good at all although I know they are healthy and that. So I will give this one a go and try others you have mentioned as I do need much more fiber in my diet.

Honestly, I’ve never heard of any of these, and frankly they don’t sounds all that awesome. I am interested in trying the cereal grain beverage you have listed at #1 just because it’s a coffee substitute. I’ve recently cut down to one cup of coffee to try and watch out for my health, but I still really miss a hot cup of something after meals, and tea just isn’t satisfying all the time. Where would I find some of this cereal beverage? Does it really taste like coffee?

As a Latin American, I grew up drinking horachata. It is very good. A lot of latin restaurants carry this drink. It tastes very good and its full of fiber- thanks for sharing. I hope more people will try it
